Passed your final exams? You're nearly ready to become a CA

In order to join ICAS and become a CA, you will need to have:

  • Passed all of your assessments.
  • Finished your training contract.
  • Had your logbook signed off by counselling member.

Once you have completed all these requirements, we will send you an application pack by email.

If you believe you have met all the requirements for membership, but have not yet received your application pack you should contact us.

Applying for membership

Once you have received your application pack, you should complete the online application form that was emailed to you.

The details you provide in this application are used to produce your certificate. Please check that we have:

  • Spelt your name correctly.
  • A record of any middle names.
  • Your date of birth.
  • Your current place of work.
  • Your postal address.

You'll also need to make payment for your Admission Fee and your Annual Subscription Fee using the online payment portal.

There are reduced subscription rates available for applicants who have a low income or live outside the EU.

Once you have joined, your ICAS membership must be renewed annually by 1 January. If you are admitted prior to 30 September, the Annual Subscription fee paid on admission will cover the period from your admission to 31 December of the current year. If you are admitted after 30 September, the Annual Subscription fee will cover the period from your admission until 31 December of the following year. You will only need to pay the admission fee once.

We will not be able to admit you to membership if we have not received both your online application for admission and your full payment by the application deadline.

You are not a CA until you've been admitted to membership.
