ICAS offers Members the option to apply for a Reduced Subscription or a Waiver of subscription fees based on their expected income or health.
Members with an expected earned income of less than £28,000 can apply for a reduced subscription. Your eligibility for reduced subscription is based on your anticipated income for the subscription year, from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2025.
ICAS uses the following definition: expected annual income is defined as 'any earned income from current employment net of expenses, but without any deduction for taxation'. This does not include income from pensions, state benefits, the statutory portion of any maternity/paternity pay and any student loans, bursaries or stipends. You may apply for the reduced subscription if your income is greater than the threshold but you have exceptional circumstances that make payment of the full rate difficult.
Members who are suffering from ill-health or financial hardship may be eligible to apply for the waiver of subscription fees.
Apply hereTo complete the application:
- Select "Reduced Subscription or Fee Waiver Form" from the black navigation bar in the new window.
- Complete all the required fields and pages of the form
- Submit the application form by clicking on the submit button on the bottom of the final page.
ICAS will notify you of the application outcome via email. Please note that your subscription rate will not be updated until your application form has been approved.
