We’re pleased to be working in partnership with the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) to bring together two high-quality designations.

Through the joint CA CTA exam route, students can work towards dual membership with the two bodies and earn two prestigious qualifications in accountancy and tax.

The joint programme allows students to specialise in either of the following:

  • Owner-managed businesses
  • Major corporates

The programme allows students to fast track their CA and CTA studies, achieving their designatory letters in as little as three or three and a half years by combining the CA and CTA study routes, providing exam credits where relevant.

The benefits

The main benefits of the joint programme - for both students and employers - is the shorter study time, allowing students to qualify sooner, reducing the overall costs.

The credits available will ensure that students will still cover the complete CA and CTA syllabus, while minimising any overlap, compared to sitting the qualifications separately.

Two qualifications achieved in one joint programme:

  • Reduced time
  • Lower costs
  • Less syllabus overlap
  • Specialist in tax and accountancy
  • Dual qualified within 3 and a half years
