The Joint Insolvency Examination Board (JIEB) examinations are a set of professional exams for those who want to become a licensed insolvency practitioner.
Recognised both inside and outside insolvency, JIEB is your opportunity to lay the foundations for a career in one of the UK's most rewarding professions.
The JIEB exams are held once a year, usually in November. They are comprised of two computer-based papers:
- Corporate insolvency
- Personal insolvency
Each paper is 3 hours long with 1/2 hour allowed for reading time.
Further information is available on the JIEB website in terms of the process for applying for the JIEB exam.
Training courses to prepare for sitting the JIEB exam are provided by third party training providers, which include BPP Professional Development (England and Wales JIEB papers) and Insolvency Support Services (Scotland JIEB papers).
