Global search for accountancy's next generation of trailblazers underway

MEDIA STATEMENT - ICAS has launched its annual, global search for the most exciting emerging talent in the accountancy profession.

Nominations have opened for the 2026 CA Rising Stars, celebrating exceptional Chartered Accountants under 35 who are redefining leadership, innovation and impact worldwide. 

This year the prestigious competition introduces a brand-new award category - Community and Social Value – to recognise CAs who are driving meaningful impact in their communities and contributing to wider societal good. Alongside this new category, the winners of each of the four awards and the overall Rising Star will be announced at a special event in central London in June.  

The overall winner will go on to represent ICAS and Chartered Accountants Worldwide at the One Young World Summit - a renowned event that gathers young leaders from over 190 countries to collaborate on solutions to the most pressing global issues - being held in Cape Town, South Africa, on 3-6 November. 

To be considered, nominees must show a measurable contribution within one of the four categories: Ethical Leaders, Innovators in Technology, Changemakers, or Community and Social Value. Each category aligns with ICAS’ focus on upholding public trust, advancing innovation in new technologies and business models, and championing transformative action in areas including sustainability.
