Office Bearer nominations for 2026-27
From 19 January ICAS members can nominate themselves for any of the Office Bearer positions for the 2026-27 term – President, Deputy President or Vice President.
Who are the Office Bearers?
The President, Deputy President and Vice President are key positions for ICAS. The President leads Council and represents ICAS at national and international events, promoting our values, the profession and our CA qualification. They are supported by the Deputy President and Vice President.
The relationships they foster also help us maintain and develop connections with other professional bodies and important stakeholders such as governments and regulators.

How to apply
If you wish to be considered for an Office Bearer position, your application must be supported by 25 ICAS members.
When nominations open on 19 January 2026, please complete the application form and submit by close of business on Monday 9 February.
Interview and appointment process
Applications will be considered by the Presidential Nominations Committee (PNC), alongside any candidates the PNC have identified.
The PNC will then shortlist all those applicants it wishes to invite to interview.
Interviews will be held remotely by Microsoft Teams and will follow the same format for both self-nominated and PNC-identified candidates.
The PNC will then recommend a candidate for each Office Bearer position to ICAS Council, and Council will vote on each recommendation.
The appointments will be announced at the 2026 ICAS Annual General Meeting on Friday 24 April.
