ICAS wins Accountancy Body of the Year award
ICAS has been named Accountancy Body of the Year at the 2025 PQ magazine awards, a recognition of our commitment to future-proofing the profession.
PQ magazine praised ICAS for its leadership in shaping the future of the profession, highlighting our market-leading, future-fit CA syllabus. The new programme ensures future CAs deliver value and uphold ethical leadership in an ever-evolving world.
As the world's oldest accountancy body, ICAS remains at the forefront of innovation, continually evolving to meet the needs of the profession.
Bruce Cartwright CA, ICAS CEO, said: “The award recognises our ongoing commitment to equipping CAs with the skills they need to navigate the challenges of business now and in the future. Our syllabus, launched in 2024, has been a gamechanger – not just for ICAS, but for the wider profession. We were the first to evolve the qualification to focus on key areas such as technology, data and sustainability, ensuring our CA qualification keeps pace with advances in technology, data, and sustainability - empowering our members to lead the economies of tomorrow.
“I am incredibly proud of the ICAS team, who work tirelessly to support our members, firms, and students, always putting the needs of the profession at the heart of everything we do."
Also, huge congratulations to Lauren Healy, from ICAS ATO, Buzzacott LLP, for winning Training Manager/Mentor of the Year.
