Voting results from the 2025 ICAS AGM
The 2025 ICAS AGM was held in Edinburgh and online on 25 April. The ICAS Office Bearers for 2025/26 and the results of the elections to Council were both confirmed during the meeting.

ICAS Office Bearers for 2025/26 confirmed
The new Office Bearer appointments for 2025/26 were confirmed during the meeting as follows:

Karen Scholes CA takes over as President from Alison Cornwell CA and will serve a year in office.
We would like to thank Alison Cornwell CA for the hugely positive contribution she made to ICAS during her year in office.
ICAS Council election results
The results of the elections to ICAS Council were also announced. Congratulations to the successful candidates and thanks to all members who took part and to everyone who got involved, considered their choices and cast their votes.
Open Seat positions
The four ICAS Council Open Seat positions received seven nominations and an election was held. The successful candidates were:

The number of votes cast in favour of Samantha Frost CA was 593.

The number of votes cast in favour of Tricia Pritchard CA was 531.

The number of votes cast in favour of David Wilson CA was 450.

The number of votes cast in favour of Ken Croarkin CA was 439.

The number of votes cast in favour of Jaci Badenhorst CA was 384.

The number of votes cast in favour of Craig Alexander Smith CA was 307.

The number of votes cast in favour of Stephen Lofnes CA was 226.
Uncontested seats
The following positions that were open to nominations were not contested, meaning that the candidates listed below were appointed with effect from the AGM:
Scotland East Electoral Area
Niall McCallum CA was the only candidate and has been elected unopposed.
Scotland West Electoral Area
Dalvir Singh Johal CA and Graham Soutar CA were the only candidates and have been elected unopposed.
England, Wales and Northern Ireland
David Brownlow CA, Richard Grant CA and Penelope Satchwell CA were the only candidates and have been elected unopposed.
AGM resolution voting results
The proxy voting and in-person voting results on each Resolution were also announced and all were carried. The results were as follows.
Resolution 1
Receive and approve the 2024 Annual Report and Consolidated Financial Statements.
The full results of the voting were:

Resolution 2
To approve the re-appointment of Martin Gill, BDO LLP as ICAS Auditor.

Resolution 3
To approve the implementation of a lifetime subscription with effect from 1 January 2027.
