From long-standing mental-health conditions to temporary difficulties, we all face wellbeing challenges now and again.
And whether you’re having a testing time in your personal life, struggling with something at work or experiencing a challenging life event, it’s good to know that there’s extra help out there to get you through.
That’s where our wellbeing support service comes in.
The service, which includes a counselling helpline and Netflix-style resource portal, is free for all ICAS members and any non-CA employees of our Evolve-member practice firms.
Our students can access a dedicated Student Assistance Programme through Advantage.
It can help to talk
When you’re struggling with a problem, talking to someone else can help you gain a different perspective, identify potential solutions and develop new ways to cope. Sharing your problems can also help by making you feel less isolated.
You can call the wellbeing helpline from anywhere in the world, at any time 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
The confidential service is designed to assist you with personal and professional problems that could be affecting your home life, work life, health or general wellbeing.
And you can have up to six sessions with the friendly, qualified counsellors per issue you’re dealing with.
A wealth of wellbeing resources
You also have access to Ele, a Netflix-style platform with a wealth of wellbeing resources including self-help videos, podcasts and tools.
You’ll find interviews with big names chatting about big issues like resilience and depression, along with great wellbeing offers and discounts. There are themed collections of safe and reliable information covering 15 major wellbeing areas, including mental wellbeing, financial wellbeing, grief, menopause, personal development and stress.
