A year with a future focus
In 2024 we celebrated out 170th anniversary, but it proved to be a year in which we focused on the future and not the past.
It was filled with strategic delivery to support our members, students and firms, and tackle the big issues to safeguard the profession for decades to come.
And just over 12 months on from the launch of our ambitious strategy, ‘ICAS 2030: Together we will…’ we had already delivered much of what we set out to do.
The headline in 2024 was the launch of our new CA syllabus, which is a game changer for ICAS and the profession. Delivered at pace, on time and to budget, the new syllabus ensures our CA qualification keeps pace with advances in technology, data and sustainability, empowering those who earn it to lead the economies of tomorrow.
We also continued to drive forward in key areas of our strategy and were a leading voice on topics of ethics, sustainability, equality, diversity and inclusion, and technology.
Audited Annual Report and Consolidated Financial Statements 2024
The members of ICAS Council are responsible for preparing the Annual Report and Consolidated Financial Statements in accordance with applicable law and regulations.
These were approved by ICAS Council on 20 March 2025.
Public Interest Members Report 2024
The Public Interest Members Report 2024 is included in the Annual Report.
The duties of Public Interest Members of Council (PIMs) are to bring an independent perspective to the work of ICAS and to ensure that the profession operates in a transparent manner and to the highest ethical standards. We are also closely involved in the governance of the organisation.
