2 December - Grampian Webinar: Accounting for Crypto, in conjunction with Robert Gordon University
This event, jointly hosted by the ICAS Grampian Area Network and Robert Gordon University, has its sights set firmly on the future of accounting. For many, cryptocurrency is the future of finance, existing outside the control of governments and central authorities and harnessing technologies such as bitcoin and blockchain.
With these advances come disruption and the need for new understanding and new ways of working. To aid your understanding, Elizabeth Gammie CA, Chair of the ICAS Grampian Area Network and Head of Aberdeen Business School at RGU, are joined by Kris Lindahl CA, an award-winning blockchain FinTech entrepreneur.
The session is split into three sections, covering an introduction to cryptocurrency, a look at global adoption trends and then a focus on decentralised finance and accounting automation.
