Welcome to ICAS Regulation News
Welcome to ‘Regulation News’ – your new quarterly update with everything you and your firm need to know.
We are delighted to share the first edition of ICAS’ Regulation News with you. With so much happening in regulation, we need to make sure that we’re providing our regulated members and firms with everything they need to know. We believe that an update email which signposts this information is the most straightforward way of achieving our aim.
Our intention is to issue Regulation News by email on a quarterly basis, although we might release additional editions if needed. We will be covering most of the main licensing schemes, including general practice ie PCs and PII, AML, audit, and insolvency.
It’s important from the outset to emphasise that these emails will focus primarily on regulatory issues, with technical information being shared through our existing communications (including Technical Bulletin and Audit News). We’ll be covering new regulatory requirements – whether applied by ICAS or government – and providing guidance on how members and firms can best comply.
If there is anything in Regulation News that you’d like to chat through in a bit more detail, then please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
