Audit News 68 - Special Spring Edition 2018

As promised in our Spring edition of Audit News, we are pleased to publish our annual audit monitoring report, which provides:

  • An overview of the activities of ICAS Audit Monitoring during 2017;
  • Key messages and detailed findings arising from monitoring visits; and
  • Additional news and information for 2018.

The report is designed to provide firms of all sizes with some points to consider in upcoming audit engagements. We would strongly recommend that each firm utilises this report when conducting cold file reviews as part of the Annual Compliance Review, and the matters noted could also be kept in mind when performing RI or manager reviews of audit engagements.
