Companies House office closures
James Barbour highlights the latest update from Companies House.
1.Office access
There are now restrictions to public access to Companies House offices and to the delivery of paper documents. Customers should use Companies House online filing services where possible. These are:
- Accounts filing;
- Confirmation statements; and
- Company changes,
2.Companies House - Edinburgh
The Edinburgh office is now closed to the public. Any paper documents should now be delivered to the Companies House letterbox which is next to the office building.
3.Companies House - London
The London office will be closed to the public from 5pm on 17 March 2020. There is no letterbox at this office – therefore customers must send all mail directly to the Cardiff office, at the following address:

4.Same day services
Companies House have suspended all their same days services as of 17 March 2020 until further notice. Any orders currently being processed will be completed and posted out to customers.
