Helpline from Protect: Independent whistleblowing advice for CAs
ICAS has joined forces with Protect to provide members with access to an independent, confidential helpline. This service offers free advice regarding whistleblowing and speaking up.
We are living in unprecedented times, nevertheless, there is a need, as always, for every individual CA to demonstrate the highest standards of professional behaviour and ethical standards in order to fulfil their profession’s duty to the public interest.
Throughout the days ahead, CAs will continue to be a force for good in the organisations in which they work. Through their ethical leadership, CAs can influence those around them, and thereby help shape the culture and values of their organisation. The cumulative effect of their influence can help reinforce the importance of ethics at the core of business practices, and of a more responsible and holistic approach to business.
ICAS is always here to help our members deal with an ethical dilemma, but sometimes independent counsel is called for. We are proud to have joined forces with Protect, to offer our members access to their confidential advice helpline.
