ICAS President, Bruce Pritchard CA, has recorded an end-of-year message highlighting the ways in which CAs and ICAS stepped up to meet the challenges of 2021.
CAs have delivered positive change
2021 was another difficult year, with all of us impacted by issues ranging from climate change, to the pandemic and the effects of Brexit.
However, as Bruce points out in his video, these events and the challenges they presented gave CAs opportunities to employ their expertise and make an important contribution.
We’ve embraced smarter ways of working, made sustainable choices, provided vital expertise and – despite our ever-shifting backdrop – acted as a force for positive change within our organisations.
ICAS has led the way
Bruce also highlights the work that ICAS has done throughout the year, from its thought-leadership on issues such as sustainability, mental ill-health and diversity, to the support it has provided to Members, Students and firms.
With the launch of our Mental Fitness Pledge, ICAS has become a leading voice for the promotion of mental health and provided practical support for professional wellbeing.
