ICAS Chief Executive, Bruce Cartwright CA, on the importance of gathering diversity data
In a video message to Members, ICAS Chief Executive, Bruce Cartwright CA, explains why they will be asked a new range of questions during the 2022 membership Annual Renewal.
When Annual Renewal for 2022 membership opens in November, ICAS Members will notice some changes to the process.
The changes take the form of a range of additional questions that Members will be asked to answer as they complete their renewal form.
These are only small changes but they should go a long way towards helping ICAS improve the services and support it provides to its Members.
Included within the new questions will be a short series on the topic of diversity, asking about things such as working pattern, religion and caring responsibilities – questions that are now standard good practice across most large organisations.
Quite simply put, the better we can understand you, the profession and your individual and collective needs, the better equipped we’ll be to support and represent you.
As Bruce Cartwright CA explains in the video below, Members' responses will be confidential and only accessible for reporting and analysis purposes by a very small number of ICAS employees.
The insights gathered will enable ICAS to assess how it understands and supports the needs of its diverse membership, as well as to identify and address any gaps in its representation, support and services.
