HMRC thanks ICAS Members for their assistance with COVID-19 support
HMRC has written an open letter in which it thanks ICAS Members for the part they have played in helping to deliver COVID-19 support
HMRC has written an open letter to ICAS Members and the wider tax-agent community, thanking them for their assistance in the design and delivery of the various COVID-19 financial support schemes.
The letter reflects upon the challenges of the past year and states that the pandemic resulted in HMRC working more closely than ever with trusted partners and stakeholders, including ICAS.
The letter also celebrates the scale and success of both the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (CJRS) and the Self-Employment Income Support Scheme (SEISS) and outlines HMRC's plans for the future of both.
