A decade of championing social mobility: ICAS Foundation celebrates 10-year milestone
The ICAS Foundation launched with a mission ‘nurturing future leaders in accountancy’ – a purpose as relevant today as it was then.
Supporting the next generation of CAs
Over the past 10 years, the charity has awarded £2.3m in bursary funding and has supported over 300 students throughout their university studies. Its undeniably made a lasting impact on the next generation of Chartered Accountants by providing bursary, mentoring support and work experience opportunities.
Sanjay Singh, ICAS Foundation Director says, “The ICAS Foundation works closely with the profession to make sure accounting firms can remove barriers to entry and foster opportunities for people from diverse backgrounds to thrive. This ensures that exceptional talent is not overlooked, and accountancy firms are able to reflect a corporate culture that better mirrors our society."
The ICAS Foundation is transforming
The charity has a new look, a new voice and a new strategy for the new year. We've refreshed the brand to realign with ICAS and enable us to better work towards our goals.
To reflect the life-changing work the ICAS Foundation does, the refreshed strategy sets out our vision of being known as the leading organisation that increases social mobility and widens access to education and further careers within the accountancy sector in Scotland and beyond.
