170 years of ICAS: CA magazine cover competition
This year we celebrate our 170th birthday – making us the oldest accountancy professional body in the world.
To mark the occasion, we’ve launched a competition aimed at teaching primary school and high school pupils about the opportunities that come with a career in chartered accountancy.
We’re asking pupils to get creative and design the front cover for our award-winning digital CA magazine and win vouchers for their school.
About ICAS
ICAS (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland) is a global professional membership organisation and business network for Chartered Accountants. We’re also an educator, regulator, examiner and a professional awarding body. Find out more about us here.
About the competition
We’d like schools across the country to create designs in response to this question: “What themes are important for creating a better world for you to grow up in?”. The overall winning design will feature on the front cover of our December 2024 issue of our digital CA magazine.
The prizes are as follows:
The overall winner will win £500 worth of vouchers for their school.
The two remaining category winners chosen will each receive £250 worth of vouchers for their schools.
(The winning schools will have a selection of vouchers to choose from.)
How can your school get involved?
Help us teach the young, inquisitive minds of tomorrow about a career in chartered accountancy. If your school would like to get involved, we have made an instruction document below which can be shared with your pupils. Spread the word before the competition closes on Friday 11 October 2024.
