ICAS Member international communities
Our global communities help thousands of ICAS members to network, make new connections and share insights.
The 23,000-strong ICAS membership is a truly global professional network, with members across the world. Thousands of our CAs live and work everywhere from Calgary to Cape Town and many more places in between.
We have a range of local communities that meet up, to share professional insights, network and socialise.
If you are already working internationally, have recently moved or are considering a move, then we’d highly recommend you reach out to your nearest Local Area Network Ambassador.

ICAS and CAW – internationally connected
Through ICAS you’re part of the Chartered Accountants Worldwide Network (CAW). Bringing together 14 of the world’s leading institutes of Chartered Accountants, including ICAS, CAW forms a global network with a combined total of 750,000 members across 190 countries. The network plays an important role in protecting, promoting and developing the Chartered Accountancy brand and profession.
The CAW Network Member logo is exclusive to members. When it’s displayed in conjunction with your CA designation, you’ll gain additional local and global prestige. In fact, research indicates that by doing so, business leaders and clients will see you as more relevant to helping them internationally.

Global Accounting Alliance
ICAS is a founding member of the Global Accounting Alliance (GAA), formed to provide thought leadership on accounting issues, coordinate interaction with regulatory bodies and use the combined knowledge of accountants around the globe in the public interest.
One of the founding objectives of the GAA was to help members access overseas support and value adding services. The GAA Passport Programme enables members working and looking to work in GAA Member Body jurisdictions to obtain access to specific local member support services.
