CA magazine shortlisted again in national magazine awards
The June 2020 edition of CA magazine, the Evolution of Retail, has been shortlisted for Cover of the Year in the prestigious British Society of Magazine Editors Awards 2021.
This shortlisting by the British Society of Magazine Editors follows the magazine being shortlisted in the PPA Scottish Magazine Awards at the end of 2020.
The magazine has again been shortlisted for its June 2020 front cover, featuring a T-rex on its way back from a shopping spree.
The image is a nod towards the issue’s main feature, in which business professionals working in the retail sector shared their experience of the pandemic as well as advice on how the high street could survive. The issue offered some light relief as the third month of lockdown arrived – a time when many commentators were featuring the worst for high street mainstays and independent favourites. The cover reflects the push-and-pull of public debate: is there life left in our retailers after all?
The winning cover is to be decided by the public with voting closing on Monday 8 February at 5pm. If you agree it deserves to win please vote for the cover.
