9 December: Ask ICAS: Code of Ethics changes - your essential update
Event summary
ICAS is adopting a revised Code of Ethics from 1 January 2022, incorporating revisions to promote the role and mindset expected of professional accountants.
In this session, James Barbour CA, Director – Policy Leadership, discussed the changes being made to the Code, why they are necessary and how they might impact CAs working in business and practice. He also highlighted the resources that are available to help you meet your ethical obligations.
The session will provide the perfect opportunity to help you achieve the new mandatory ethics CPD requirement that was introduced for all ICAS Members this year.
As an extra bonus, you’ll gain insights on the work of the International Ethics Standards Board for Accountants (IESBA) and learn about likely future changes to the Code of Ethics.
