Student support for assessment retake

Students who have failed or deferred an assessment will be offered the opportunity to purchase one of our retake support services to help them prepare for their next attempt.

Students are automatically enrolled for their first attempt at an assessment, however, if they fail or defer an assessment, they'll need to self-enrol for the next one using the retake form..

Assessment information

Students will find everything they need to know about assessments in our Assessments Fundamental. They’ll be prompted to review this before they sit an assessment.

The Fundamental contains information about how to choose the location of their final assessment (Knowledge only), how to prepare for mock and final assessments, and what happens after the assessment.

Each Course Introduction module details how they’ll be assessed for that specific course.

Retake support

We have a range of retake support available to purchase to support students towards their next assessment attempt.

Students have until Friday 12 December at 17.00 to sign up for retake support and until Friday 20 December at 17.00 to pay for their chosen retake support.

We can’t accept any late enrolments/payments, so please make sure students have enrolled and paid by the deadline.

The retake course, workshop and mock assessment are non-refundable; however, the assessment is refundable up to the assessment deferral date (found below).

Students can purchase the below support to help them with their next attempt at Knowledge assessments:

Course and assessment

Access to the course material, dedicated retake course discussion and the final assessment.

The final assessments will take place on:

• Reporting and Performance 1 assessment – Tuesday 18 March 2025 (10.00 – 12.00)
• Assurance assessment – Tuesday 18 March 2025 (14.00 – 15.30)
• Taxation assessment – Wednesday 19 March 2025 (10.00 - 12.00)
• Business Management and Finance assessment – Wednesday 19 March 2025 (14.00-16.00)
• Business Law assessment – Thursday 20 March 2025 (10.00-11.30)

Students should select this option to sign up for the retake assessment.

Retake workshop

Access to the course, dedicated retake course discussion and the final assessment, plus a half-day online workshop.

The online retake workshops* will take place on:

ICAS:

• Reporting and Performance 1 workshop – Monday 17 February 2025 (09.30 – 12.30)
• Assurance workshop – Monday 17 February 2025 (13.30 – 16.30)
• Business Management and Finance workshop – Tuesday 18 February 2025 (09.30 – 12.30)
• Taxation workshop – Tuesday 18 February 2025 (13.30 – 16.30)

BPP:

• Reporting and Performance 1 workshop – Monday 17 February 2025 (18.00 – 21.00)
• Assurance workshop – Tuesday 18 February 2025 (18.00 – 21.00)
• Business Management and Finance workshop – Wednesday 19 February 2025 (18.00– 21.00)
• Taxation workshop – Thursday 20 February 2025 (18.00 – 21.00)

The retake workshop is not available for Business Law.

Mock assessment

Access to the course, dedicated retake course discussion and the final assessment, plus a marked mock assessment to test and confirm your understanding.

The mock assessments will take place on:

• Assurance – Tuesday 4 March 2025 (14.00 – 15.30)
• Taxation – Wednesday 5 March 2025 (10.00 - 12.00)
• Business Management and Finance – Wednesday 5 March 2025 (14.00 – 16.00)
• Business Law – Thursday 6 March 2025 (10.00 – 11.30)

Course, retake workshop, mock and final assessment

Access to the course, retake discussion, a half-day online workshop, plus a marked mock and the final assessment.

This is not available for Business Law.

Skills

Integration

Term 4 Integration results will be released on Thursday 16 January 2025. We’ll share more information about Integration retake support nearer the time of results.
