Introducing our new terms-based delivery model
Our new terms-based syllabus delivery model will give you the certainty to plan ahead and the flexibility to fit across around your business.
New schedule of terms
We’ve refreshed our CA syllabus to keep pace with advances in technology, data and sustainability.
When it launches in April 2024, it will be delivered using a new, rolling three-year schedule of terms.
The schedule will give you a long-term view of your students’ learning journey and the certainty to plan-ahead. You’ll have more control over your students’ progress through the qualification, allowing you to choose when they’re in the office, focused on work and clients, and when they’re in the classroom, studying for exams.
Subject-specific routes
Our new approach to the syllabus delivers the 'structured flexibility' that lets you choose different pathways through the CA qualification for your students.
This means you‘ll be able to choose whether they follow a traditional level-by-level pathway or a subject-specific pathway.
For example, students in your tax team could follow our taxation learning pathway and be fully up to speed in tax sooner than was traditionally the case, and before they tackle the remainder of the syllabus subjects.
The qualification would still be completed at our Integration level with its multi-disciplinary case study. However, under our new, flexible system, this could be sat in the second, rather than the third year of training.
Choose your route to the CA
We would be happy to work with you on specific routes that work best for your business. Below are some illustrations of ways we see students working towards the qualification.
