Working with ICAS means much more than just a salary. We know that our people integrate work and life, and no two people have the same requirements – so our benefits package reflects that, offering flexibility and support. It’s something we are happy to discuss when we meet, however, here are the core elements of our benefits package:
Just Imagine – these are available to you from day one
Pension
ICAS wants to support you in saving for a comfortable retirement. We offer a defined contribution pension scheme provided through Aegon. 3% (your minimum contribution) and 9% (ICAS employer contribution).
Annual leave
35 days annual leave (including nine public holidays) rising to 38 days after five years of service. Staff members may also choose to buy additional leave.
Health Cash Plan
Each year the cost of basic healthcare is rising fast. ICAS wants to help by offering 100% refund on healthcare bills for you and your dependents covering dental, optical, specialist consultations, alternative therapies and more. You can flex to increase your cover or include your partner. Dependants under 18 are included.
Private medical insurance
Leadership and Professional/Managerial staff members are entitled to private medical insurance for themselves as a core benefit. All staff members may choose to flex this benefit for either themselves or to include their family.
Income protection
If you are absent from work for reasons of illness, you may be covered through MetLifefor 50% of your salary. After 26 weeks, you are covered for up to five years absence.
Life assurance
Typically, a lump sum payment to a beneficiary upon death (4 x salary).
Professional membership fees
If you require to maintain membership of a professional association in order to perform your role, ICAS will reimburse your fees.
Giving Back Days
At ICAS we believe that it is important to help to better the community in which we operate. This is why we offer our staff members the opportunity to take up to three days of paid leave to support charitable activities.
Employee Assistance Programme
ICAS recognises that sometimes life can be challenging. To help support our team and their direct family members, we work with MetLife to provide access to a wide range of health and wellbeing services. Many of them are available 24/7, from anywhere in the world.
Annual flu vaccination
ICAS offers flu vaccinations to all staff members, and our occupational health provider administers the vaccinations onsite at CA House.
Virtual GP Service
Access a virtual GP and second medical opinion service that provides you and your family members to access medical advice 24/7, 365 days a year.
Individual Learning Account
Individual Learning Accounts were introduced to encourage learning and development and improve wellbeing. ICAS offers support for all employees partake in additional learning and development of your choice – this can be a wide assortment of personal interests such as language courses, cookbooks, sporting lessons or art and music lessons.
Further Education Support
ICAS encourages staff to gain further qualifications and where it directly relates to an individual’s job, a contribution towards fees may be made.
Flexible benefits
Flexible benefits can be chosen to meet your personal needs and help you make the most of your income. These are in addition to the core benefits which all staff receive.
The flexible benefits window is open for two weeks every year – usually in March - and allows you to choose your personal benefits for the year. Once selected, your flexible benefit choices are in place for 12 months.
Holiday purchase
Relax and spend more time doing what you enjoy the most. We want you to enjoy a good work life balance, so we give you the option to purchase up to five additional days of annual leave.
Bike to Work
Want to avoid the rush hour traffic and help to save the planet? Purchase a bike with a cost reduction of up to 42% (including income tax and NI savings) as long as it will be used primarily for commuting to work.
Critical Illness & Partner Cover
Suffering from a serious illness can have a devastating impact on you and your family. Critical illness cover provides a tax free payment if you suffer with one of the serious illnesses covered by the policy, helping to relieve some of the financial pressure at this difficult time without worrying about household or medical bills.
Spouse Partner Life Insurance
Whilst no amount of money can replace a loved one, Partner Life Assurance helps support your family financially in the event of your partner’s death.

The employee benefits portal (provided by Sodexo) is accessible through the Zest platform and provides access to a wide range of discounts, including evouchers and reloadable cards for over 125 retailers, filmology discount portal and the lifestyle travel portal.
