The Role

This is a newly created role due to the companies continuous growth and expansion. The position will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer with a dotted line to the Chief Investment Officer aiding the business with strategy, budgeting and forecasting. The key components of the role will include:

Business partnering with the CFO, CIO, Development Team and Board to influence strategy, direction & decision making

Production and presentation of monthly reporting & Board packs

Responsibility for over 100 projects spanning over across several countries & renewables technologies

Ownership of budgeting, forecasting, analysis and financial modelling

KPI setting and monitoring

Liaising with external banks for finance/refinancing including debt & financial covenants

The business has highly ambitious targets for the next decade so it's imperative it secures an individual who is keen to take on additional responsibilities, duties, exposure and eventually establish a successful FP&A function & team to make these objectives a reality.

On Offer

The role of Business Planning, Analysis and Forecasting Manager is based in Edinburgh with excellent hybrid working i.e. 1-2 days within the office and the rest home working. The position will also offer:

£75,000 - £85,000 base salary

Up to 20% bonus

Candidate Profile

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the below experience:

Qualified Accountant with 5 years+ post qualification experience

Strong FP&A experience

Energy or renewables experience is highly desirable , however project asset/infrastructure experience will also be considered

Exposure to dealing with bank covenants for finance/refinancing purposes

Advanced Excel with ability to build and manipulate financial models
