A year of progress
Throughout 2019 we worked to keep pace with the external factors that shape our world and our profession.
We restructured our business, implemented the recommendations from our governance review, embraced technology, and established new frameworks for Area Networks.
Connecting with members underwent considerable change – we redesigned icas.com, introduced our CA Connect networking platform, created the ICAS app, and relaunched our flagship publication, the CA magazine.
We spent the year speaking up and addressing public trust concern, adding our voice to the heart of debates, such as those surrounding the reviews conducted by Sir John Kingman and Sir Donald Brydon.
Our thought leadership continued to extend to important areas, including corporate governance and reporting, tax, pensions, business policy, ethics, and sustainability – as reflected in the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
We also took steps to innovate for the future, reshaping our learning syllabus to ensure that the CA qualification remains the accountancy gold standard.
Finally, in 2019 we created a dedicated Customer Experience team to ensure that all members and students experience a high-value service, and developed a clear Member Value Proposition to ensure that we exceed expectations.
