ICAS Remuneration Committee
The Remuneration Committee is the body appointed by Council to be responsible for making recommendations concerning remuneration and expenses policies.
Role & responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Remuneration Committee are set out in ICAS’ General Regulations
- The policy for the remuneration for the Chief Executive, the Executive Directors and all ICAS staff, including but not limited to salary, bonus and pension arrangements.
- The policy for authorising claims for expenses from the Chief Executive and the Office Bearers.
- The remuneration of Public Interest Members of Council.
Delegation of powers
The Remuneration Committee has no decision-making powers in relation to the matters reserved to Council, and its role is therefore to consider the matters that fall within its remit and make recommendations to Council on the same. Council is required to take account of the recommendations of the Remuneration Committee, but is not bound to follow them.
