ICAS Nominations Committee
The Nominations Committee is the body appointed by Council responsible for nominating candidates to Council for appointment to fill vacancies on Council and also on key ICAS Boards, Committees and Panels.
Role and responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Nominations Committee are set out in ICAS’ General Regulations.
Delegation of powers
The Nominations Committee has no decision-making powers in relation to the matters reserved to Council, and its role is therefore to consider the matters that fall within its remit and make recommendations to Council on the same. Council is required to take account of the recommendations of the Nominations Committee, but is not bound to follow them.
